On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Sister State Relationship between Guangdong and New South Wales, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra (GSO) will present a symphonic concert in Sydney, including two beautiful contemporary Chinese compositions, one of them interpreted by the famous cellist Li-Wei Qin. Lin Daye, principal conductor of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra,was awarded First Prize at the 2012 Solti Conductors Competition in Frankfurt,the unanimous choice of the panel of distinguished international jurors.
